The Red Raiders lead the Raiders; Riverside defeats Troy Christian – volleyball Thursday

Several volleyball teams took to the court on Thursday.

The Benjamin Logan’s college team fell in London in two sets: 21-25, 22-25 and 20-25.

For the Raiders, Makayla Williamson had 15 kills, Lily Blackburn had 6 kills and Kyndal Cronkleton had 6 kills.

Benjamin Logan will host Graham on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Graham’s varsity team defeated Shawnee in straight sets: 25-13, 25-21, and 25-8.

Camille McIntosh and Mazzy Johnson led the Falcon offense with 8 kills apiece.

Whytney Faulkner and Landree Bacher both managed 6 wins.

Addie Dewiel had 27 assists for the night.

The JV Falcons lost in a difficult match in 3 sets.

The Indian Lake Varsity Team fell to Kenton Ridge in 4 sets: 24-26, 25-18, 14-25 and 21-25.

Halle Roby had 31 assists, 4 ace serves and 5 digs.

Devin Rice had 2 blocks and 9 eliminations.

Madison Brentlinger had 8 kills and 6 digs.

Allison Kinney had 9 kills.

Katie Roby had 19 searches.

The Lakers are 4-2.

Indian Lake will host North Union on Tuesday.

The JV Lakers defeated Kenton Ridge in straight sets: 25-23, 25-12.

Alex Kinney was 9/9 serving, 17/20 hitting, 18/20 putting with 12 assists

Addison Beck was 6/8 serving, 6/6 receiving serve, 4 takedowns and 5 takedowns

Adeline Robinson was 7/7 serving, 3/3 hitting with 3 kills and had 3 digs

Makenna Hurley was 9/10 in serving, 8/10 in striking, 4 kills, 18/18 in setting, 6 assists and 3 digs

Annie Rapp was 6/7 serving, 11/11 hitting, 7 kills, 7/9 receiving serve and had 3 digs

Riley Ross was 5/5 serving, 12/12 serve received with 8 perfect and 15 digs

The Riverside University Team defeated Northridge in straight sets: 25-6, 25-9 and 25-11. Alaina Snow led the Pirates in attack with 14 assists and 7 kills. She also went 100% on serve with 2 aces and 3 blocks.

Jade Copas also had an outstanding night in net with 8 kills and 2 blocks. Copas also had 6 digs and 3 aces.

Aubree Huston led the team in defense with 8 digs and went 100% in service reception.

Avery Perk had 7 digs and 6 assists.

The JV Riverside Team fell to Northridge in straight sets: 25-20 and 26-24.

The Riverside Middle School volleyball team hosted Troy Christian.

The Grade 7 Lady Pirates swept the Eagles in 2 sets: 25-15 and 25-10.

Leading Riverside was Molly Carman with 25 points and 21 aces, Kenzie Stotler added 5 points and 3 aces and Addison Shoe had 1 point with 1 aces.

The Grade 8 Lady Pirate Team also defeated Troy Christian in straight sets: 25-16 and 25-21.

Kara Klingler had 9 points, 2 aces

Keira Manahan had 9 points, 2 aces

Emilee Robinson had 8 points, 3 aces

Demi Gonzales contributed 5 points and 1 aces

Riverside will host Bellefontaine on Saturday.
