Hoops players win NABC honors

Cal Poly Humboldt men’s basketball players Amari Green, Thomas Melonja and Andrew Mork have been named to the 2021-22 National Association Basketball Coaches Honors Court, the NABC office announced.

This year, more than 2,000 student-athletes were named to the NABC Honors Court.

To be appointed to the NABC Honors Court, a student-athlete must be academically a junior, senior, or graduate student in men’s basketball at their respective college. They must also have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher at the end of the academic year.

Earlier this month, Green and Melonja were named to the California Collegiate Athletic Association’s 2021-22 Winter Academic Honor Roll. In March, Jaden Edwards was named to the 2021-22 CCAA Men’s Basketball Second Team.

Humboldt volleyball players are recognized
