FRC volleyball ranked second in the state

The women’s volleyball team FRC has done it again – they’re ranked number two in the state!

“The FRC Volleyball Team Won the Prestigious Delta Tournament Yesterday!” said FRC volleyball head coach Sarah Ritchie. “These are the top 16 ranked teams in the North. We are currently ranked #2 in the STATE!”

New leaderboards come out on September 12 and coach Ritchie says, “…we should be moving up!” Wow. The FRC Eagles won the state championship in 2019 and could then boast of being the Golden Valley Conference champions for 10 consecutive years, and in 2022 the women are already 10-0 in the Golden Valley Conference! There is a whole legacy to this team which has been climbing the steps to success for many, many years.

Local Plumas County fans will have the opportunity to see the team play at home on Wednesday, October 5, against the Lassen Cougars at 6 p.m. and Friday, October 14, when the Siskiyous Eagles come calling at 6 p.m. in the Feather River College Gymnasium. November brings three chances to see these dynamic players take on their opponents, Thursday November 3 against the Redwoods Corsairs, Wednesday November 9 against the Shasta Knights and Friday November 11 against the Butte Roadrunners. . All of these home games start at 6 p.m.
