Coyotes add Linwood to volleyball roster

VERMILLION – South Dakota Women’s Volleyball Coach Leanne Williamson is pleased to announce the addition of Keyauna Linwood to the roster ahead of the Fall 2022 season.

Linwood, a 5-foot-11 middle tackle, is transferring to South Dakota from the University of Jacksonville (Florida) and will have three seasons left in eligibility.

“I am very happy to add Keyauna to our program this fall!” coach Leanne Williamson mentioned. “After our time together, it’s obvious she’s eager to learn, and I think she’ll fit into our system and add depth to an already great group of positions!

“Her competitiveness will help her transition into our program, and I’m thrilled she’s just as excited to be a Coyote!”

Linwood appeared in 22 matches and appeared in 72 sets in her first season in Jacksonville where she totaled 78 eliminations and 33.5 blocks overall. She recorded at least one kill in 19 of her 22 appearances during the season.

Linwood, a Wylie, Texas native, prepared for LV Berkner High School where she was a two-time all-district draft pick for the Rams.

The daughter of Nakeya Ericks and Donald Ericks plans to study health sciences while in South Dakota.
