Today is the 1st of October. I am going to present two stamp issues, one from North Korea, and the other one from Thailand. Both of them have their birthday today, that's why I call them BIRTHDAY STAMPS. Unfortunately I do not have any covers with these stamps.

NORTH KOREA

This stamp was issued exactly 35 years ago, on Oct 1st, 1972. It celebrates the Olympic Summer Games held in Munich, Germany.

THAILAND
 

This souvenir sheet from Thailand is a little bit younger than the Korean issue. It had it's first day of issue 22 years ago, on Oct 1st, 1985 and commemorates the  13th South-East-Asian (SEA) - Games held from 8th to 17th of December of 1985 in Bangkok.
 
   The Volleyball picture is on the sheet margin.
